On another note....some personal work on Asbury Park, New Jersey

About 10 years ago, I started a personal project to photograph the dilapidated buildings in Asbury Park. The town was changing and along with it, building new condos, homes, opening up art galleries and cafes. So I wanted to photograph the old before the new took over completely. Today, I believe, none of these buildings exist.

    These are really great - kind of a post-apocalyptic feel. You can really sense the quiet and emptiness. And that last one is so poignant to a photographer!

    This is a cool post. Your images will pay a part in the history of asbury. It would be cool if you could go back to each location and take "after" photos then do a side by side with the before. Listing addresses would be great as well.
